i got this for my wedding cake. it was delivered a few days before the wedding. however the top two tiers were the same height, which i assume was a packaging mistake. i had no choice but to modify the middle tier since there would be no time to order a new one or return the first one

I was surprised when I got the order. First of all, I couldn't tell from the illusion of a picture if the three tiers were together or separate. THEY ARE TOGETHER. AS IN CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER. Each tier fits into holes in the next and they form a stationary three-tiered set. The clear stand is plastic, not glass.
